Gradual rollout. Hyperliquid perp trading is being released to users gradually. If you do not see setup or trading options in the app yet, go to Settings → Contact Us and ask to join the waitlist — we will enable access in batches.
Fere connects your existing EVM wallet to Hyperliquid — the leading on-chain perpetuals exchange. Fund collateral from any chain, trade longs and shorts in chat with up to 50× leverage, manage positions from the wallet panel, and run automated Day or Swing strategies once you’re set up.

What Is This?

Hyperliquid is a decentralized perpetual futures venue. You trade BTC, ETH, SOL, and 100+ other assets with leverage, funding rates, and on-chain settlement — without leaving Fere. Fere handles the hard parts: linking an API trading key to your wallet, bridging USDC into HyperCore via Bridge2, executing orders through chat, and withdrawing back to any supported chain. Your EVM wallet address is your Hyperliquid account — there is no separate signup.

What You Get

One-time setup + API wallet

Fere registers a managed API key so the agent can place perp orders on your behalf. Re-run or rotate keys anytime from Settings → Hyperliquid.

Fund from any chain

Pay with any token in your Fere holdings. We swap to native Arbitrum USDC and deposit via Hyperliquid Bridge2 (~1–3 minutes).

Trade in chat

Open and close positions, set leverage, attach TP/SL, check funding rates, and scale out with limit orders — all through natural language.

Wallet-native withdraw

Cash out USDC (Hyperliquid) from the wallet panel. Bridge back to Arbitrum, then optionally swap to USDC on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, or other supported chains.

Position tracking

Open perps and HyperCore USDC show under Assets with Hyperliquid branding. Tap a perp to open the market on Hyperliquid; use Sell to close or withdraw.

Strategy automation

Day Trading and Swing Trading strategies (Settings) require Hyperliquid funding before they can run scheduled perp checks.
Your EVM wallet = your Hyperliquid account. The same address you see in the wallet panel is credited on HyperCore. Fere never creates a separate Hyperliquid login — setup only adds an API key for automated trading.

Minimum Amounts & Fees

ItemAmountNotes
Minimum deposit (Fere)$50 USDEnforced in the Fund Hyperliquid modal and API.
Bridge2 protocol floor$5 USDCHyperliquid’s on-chain minimum per Bridge2 transfer. Fere’s product minimum is higher ($50) for safety.
First-deposit activation~$1 USDCHyperCore deducts a one-time activation fee on the first inbound transfer to a new EOA. Your tradable balance is slightly less than the gross deposit.
Minimum withdraw$6 USD gross1HyperliquidBridge2fee+1** Hyperliquid Bridge2 fee + **5 minimum net to Arbitrum. You cannot withdraw your exact full balance — leave room for the fee.
Minimum perp trade (chat)~$10.50 notionalsize × price must meet this before the agent opens a position (small slippage buffer).
Do not send less than $5 to Bridge2 directly. Deposits below Hyperliquid’s protocol minimum can be lost. Always use Fere’s Fund Hyperliquid flow so we enforce the correct floors.

Setup — Enable, Then Fund

Hyperliquid trading is a two-step flow: link the API wallet, then add USDC collateral.
1

Open Fund Hyperliquid

Launch the setup modal from any of these entry points:
  • Settings → Day Trading or Swing Trading — tap Fund Hyperliquid on the banner
  • Wallet panel → Assets — when prompted for Hyperliquid collateral (strategy or trading flows)
The modal opens to Enable if you have not completed setup yet, or straight to Fund if the API wallet is already linked.
2

Enable Hyperliquid trading

Click Enable. Fere queues a background task that registers a Fere-managed API wallet with Hyperliquid. This usually takes about a minute. If setup fails with a “not funded” error, continue to the fund step first — some accounts need an initial Bridge2 deposit before the API key can be approved.
3

Fund your perp account

On the Fund Hyperliquid screen:
  1. Pay with — pick any token from your holdings on a supported chain (Polymarket cash is excluded).
  2. Amount — enter at least $50 USD. The UI shows a conversion preview for your selected token.
  3. Confirm — Fere swaps to native Arbitrum USDC, sends it to Hyperliquid Bridge2, and waits for HyperCore credit.
After the bridge confirms, Fere may run a chained approve agent step if this was your first fund. You’ll see “Hyperliquid funded and ready to trade” when complete.
4

Verify in Settings (optional)

Go to Settings → Hyperliquid to confirm:
  • Account activated on Hyperliquid
  • Fere setup complete
  • Trading keys list (Fere-managed keys vs any external keys on the same address)
Use Re-run setup if the key is missing or Rotate to refresh a Fere-managed key.
First deposit timing. Bridge2 credits typically land in 1–3 minutes. The fund modal keeps polling until your account is ready. Withdrawals can take several minutes end-to-end (Hyperliquid settlement + optional swap to your destination chain).

Withdraw — From HyperCore Back to Your Wallet

Withdrawals are done from the wallet panel, not chat.
1

Find USDC (Hyperliquid) in Assets

Open the wallet panel → Assets. Look for USDC (Hyperliquid) — this is your HyperCore collateral balance, not an open perp position.
2

Tap Sell / Withdraw

Click Sell on the USDC (Hyperliquid) row. The modal title reads Withdraw from Hyperliquid.
3

Choose amount and destination

  • Enter at least 6USD(coversthe6 USD** (covers the **1 Hyperliquid fee and $5 net minimum).
  • Pick a destination chain and token (e.g. USDC on Base or Ethereum). Fere bridges from HyperCore → Arbitrum, then swaps if needed.
4

Confirm and wait

Settlement can take a few minutes. Do not close the modal while the task is in progress — holdings may refresh mid-flow.
To close an open perp (not withdraw collateral), use Sell on the perp row in Assets (e.g. BTC on Hyperliquid) or ask the agent in chat to close the position.

Trade via Chat

Once funded, talk to the agent like you would a trading desk. The perp_trading skill handles Hyperliquid execution — opens, closes, leverage, TP/SL, funding analysis, and order management.

What the agent can do

You ask for…What happens
Open a long or shortConfirms size, side, and leverage (default 1× cross), then submits a market order
Close a positionFull or partial close via close_perp_position
Take profit / stop loss on an existing positionAttaches reduce-only triggers — not a second position
Scale out at a limit pricePlaces a reduce-only limit order at your target
Change leverage or margin modeUpdates cross vs isolated per asset
Check funding ratesSurfaces who pays whom before you open

Example prompts

Long $100 of BTC at 2x on Hyperliquid
What's my Hyperliquid ETH position?
Set take profit at $95,000 and stop loss at $88,000 on my BTC perp
Close my SOL short
Show funding rates for BTC and ETH
Sell half my DOGE perp at $0.18
Leverage risk. The agent warns on leverage above 10×. Liquidation is real — confirm size and leverage before executing large positions.
Fund and withdraw stay in the UI. Deposits and Bridge2 withdrawals go through Fund Hyperliquid and the wallet Sell flow. Chat is for trading — opens, closes, TP/SL, and market analysis — not for moving collateral in or out.

Automated Strategies

Day Trading and Swing Trading under Settings run scheduled checks against your Hyperliquid account. Each shows a Fund Hyperliquid CTA until setup and collateral are in place. These strategies use the same API wallet and collateral as manual chat trading. Keep enough USDC on HyperCore for margin, and review open positions in the wallet panel or by asking the agent.

Troubleshooting

Error code HYPERLIQUID_NOT_FUNDED means Hyperliquid needs an initial Bridge2 deposit before the API wallet can be approved. Complete Fund Hyperliquid ($50+), then tap Re-run setup in Settings.
Fere enforces a **50minimumdeposit.HyperliquidsBridge2accepts50 minimum** deposit. Hyperliquid's Bridge2 accepts 5 on-chain, but smaller amounts through Fere are blocked to avoid failed or uneconomical flows.
Minimum gross withdraw is 66** — **1 goes to Hyperliquid’s Bridge2 fee; at least $5 must reach Arbitrum. Try a higher amount or leave collateral on HyperCore for trading.
Perp opens need **~10.50notional(size×price).Askforalargernotional(e.g."10.50 notional** (`size × price`). Ask for a larger notional (e.g. "15 of BTC”) or increase leverage after confirming risk.
Hyperliquid writes are async. Wait ~5 seconds and ask again, or refresh holdings in the wallet panel. The agent may say “submitted” until read-back confirms the fill.
Settings lists all API wallets Hyperliquid recognizes for your EOA. Non-Fere keys show a warning. Fere cannot revoke third-party keys surgically — use Rotate on Fere-managed keys only, or manage external bots directly on Hyperliquid.
